As defined by Dr. Lauren Artress, “The labyrinth is a spiritual tool that has many applications in various settings. It reduces stress, quiets the mind and opens the heart. It is a walking meditation, a path of prayer, and a blue-print where psyche meets Spirit.” Introduction to the Labyrinth, free on-line class available at www.veriditas.teachable.com.
Learn to make a portable embroidered finger labyrinth designed by BJ Byrd.
2-Session Class includes:
-Field trip to a full size labyrinth built in the ground
-Information of how to walk a labyrinth
-Complete kit to make a finger labyrinth
-Directions for embroidering and sewing labyrinth
-Embroidery file
-Plastic template for cutting fabric
Students will receive a complete project kit and only need a sewing machine to complete this class.
