These lessons are open ONLY for machines that you BOUGHT FROM CHARLOTTE SEWING CENTER. These are one-on-one lessons; most are 2 hours long. Offered most Thursdays, many Saturdays and some Tuesdays. Other days by special arrangement.

Beginner Sewing 1 2025
This class will explore beginning sewing terms, supplies and some notions. You will learn to plan and complete simple sewing projects. You will learn basic sewing information and techniques and will sew projects to practice and reinforce them. We begin with very basic sewing knowledge. I assume you have no idea about anything having to do with sewing or sewing machines. Click on the picture for a full description of the class. All students must be 18 years old or older. Learn to Quilt 1, 2025
Learn to quilt. All the basics, including fabric preparation, accurate cutting with a rotary cutter, piecing, how to sew accurate seams, adding borders, batting choices, making a quilt sandwich, quilt it all together and add the binding.
