Fun way for both beginners and non-beginners to learn and practice piecing and quilting techniques. Come to one, a few, or all of the classes. The May block is the Lone Star. The Lone Star design looks like a lot of intense, precise piecing but it actually begins with strips of fabric and is really pretty easy! Click on the picture to learn more.

Each month a different technique. Fun way for both beginners and non-beginners to learn and practice piecing and quilting techniques. Come to one, a few, or all of the classes. The June block, the Dresden Plate, is paper pieced and then appliqued to a background using a turned-edge, easy-to-do, technique. Learn to paper piece without piercing the paper, a technique that can be used for lots of other paper pieced patterns. Never have to tediously and carefully tear away all of that paper from the backside of the quilt! Click on the picture to learn more.

Each month a different technique. Fun way for both beginners and non-beginners to learn and practice piecing and quilting techniques. Come to one, a few, or all of the classes. The July block is traditional raw edge applique on the machine but with a few embellishment surprises thrown in. The sample block, based on the picture shown here, is not made yet but watch for it; it is coming. Click on the picture to learn more.

Each month a different technique. Fun way for both beginners and non-beginners to learn and practice piecing and quilting techniques. Come to one, a few, or all of the classes. The August block is the Crazy Patch. This is made with a sew-and-flip method, then decorative stitching or embellishments are sewn over the seams. The fun part about crazy quilt blocks is that they are made from odd-ball shapes and sizes, and that nothing is really the same. Come to one, a few, or all of the classes. Click on the picture to learn more.

Each month a different technique. Fun way for both beginners and non-beginners to learn and practice piecing and quilting techniques. Come to one, a few, or all of the classes. Stained Glass Applique is the September block. Stained Glass Applique quilts are made by fusing fabric shapes to background fabric and covering the edges with fabric bias strips. The end result is a design that looks like stained glass. Typically the bias strips used are black but in reality, any color can be used. You are the designer; do what you want to do! Click on the picture to learn more.

Cost: $ 20.00
Each month a different technique. Fun way for both beginners and non-beginners to learn and practice piecing and quilting techniques. Come to one, a few, or all of the classes. Triangle Squares block is the October block. Cutting and sewing triangles causes piecing problems because at least one side of the triangle is always on the bias and vulnerable to unwanted stretching. The techniques used in this class will avoid that risk. Click on the picture to learn more.

Cost: $ 20.00
Each month a different technique. Fun way for both beginners and non-beginners to learn and practice piecing and quilting techniques. Come to one, a few, or all of the classes.
