Class Policies: We look forward to seeing you in classes and wish to make the experience enjoyable as well as educational. Please read our Class Policies below.
To reserve your place in a class, payment is required when you register. Phoned-in payments can be by credit or debit card. In-store payments can be by credit or debit card; by check or cash. (Checks are usually made payable to the instructor but please ask).
Supplies are not included in the class fee unless so stated. Supply lists are provided by the instructors, usually via e-mail. Please purchase your supplies and complete all pre-work prior to the class.
If you register then find you cannot attend, please call or e-mail to cancel. Cancellations must be received at least one week (7 days) prior to the start of a class for a refund to be given. We are happy to transfer you to another class or issue a credit or refund if we are notified at least one week (7 days) prior to the starting date.
Instructors reserve the right to cancel a class if the minimum attendance requirements are not met. A full refund will be given for any class canceled by an instructor.
Class schedules are subject to change. From time to time personal situations arise that require an instructor to alter a class's scheduled dates and/or times. When such situations arise the instructor will notify those enrolled in the class to work out an adjusted schedule.
Mastery* Classes - These are ‘Owner Mastery’ classes which are free to those who purchased the machine, software, etc. from the Charlotte Sewing Center. All other classes are fee based classes; fees vary depending upon the class.
If you have questions about a particular class, please contact the class instructor….
