In this 2-session class explore many of the basic features of the Premier+2, and Premier+ embroidery software. Maybe you have just gotten your software and want some help getting 'into' it or maybe you have had it for a while but need some refresher or have some unanswered questions about using it. Applicable to all levels of the software, Intro, Basic, Extra, Ultra. Each class is 3 hours long.
Part 1 - EXPLORER PLUG-IN; CONFIGURE; THREAD CACHE (time permitting)
In the FIRST CLASS we will explore using EXPLORER PLUG-IN, a great way to view and manage all of your embroidery designs. With Explorer Plug-In you can see the design properties (size, number of colors and stitches, list the colors in the design, etc.) without having to load the design into your software and search your computer directory for a design by title or keywords. You can change the stitch-out format of a design (e.g., from VP3 to PES), print templates of the design for placement and other uses, print a color chart of the threads used in the design and much more. In the first class we will also review the CONFIGURE module and take a quick look at THREAD CACHE if time permits.
Part 2 - EMBROIDERY BASICS for MANIPULATING and MANAGING DESIGNS,
In the SECOND CLASS we will dive into some of the basic features of the EMBROIDERY basic software, those features that help us manipulate, combine and manage designs. Embroidery, the basic program, allows you to manipulate your designs in many ways...combine designs, change the size, preview different thread colors, add lettering, create monograms with and without the Monogram Wizard, and even auto-digitize fonts to use in the software. In this class we will concentrate on manipulating designs using the HOME tab, the VIEW tab and the FILE tab of the software. Time permitting, we may take a quick look at a few features of the Letter tab.
Each class is 3 hours long. Register for one or both of the classes.
Bring your laptop computer with the software installed, a computer mouse, your Dongle (for P+) and your questions to class and enjoy a fun time exploring the software with Susan and fellow software users! Do CHECK for software updates so you have the most up-to-date version of the software loaded. To check for updates, open CONFIGURE and click on SMART UPDATE. (You must be connected to the internet.) Follow the instructions on-screen.
