BARGELLO is the block for JULY, shown above.  The materials list for the month will be emailed to those registered for the class about a week before the class. 

Monthly classes are scheduled through November 2017, usually on the first Tuesday afternoon and first Thursday evening of each month.  Make just a few blocks and design your own quilt or use the blocks for a table runner, tote bags or some other project.  A completed quilt using all nine blocks and a piano key border is shown at right.  Make it a patriotic quilt using reds, blues and whites, or use whatever colors you choose.

Blocks are 12" square, sashing strips are 2 1/2" wide, border is 3 1/2" wide and the finished quilt size is about 46" square, a nice little lap quilt, table or bed topper, or wall hanging.  Great for a beginner quilter who is just learning to piece and to quilt.  Each block is quilted individually and the blocks are joined together with sashing strips.
