Learn serger techniques and ways to use some optional feet and accessories available for your serger. This class was written for the Baby Lock 8-thread serger but can be adapted to make on the Baby Lock 4-thread serger.
Techniques featured in the making of this project are:
- chain stitch quilting
- wide cover stitch and making 'bias strips'; not necessarily on the bias
- serger binding
- using decorative, heavier weight threads
- 2-thread flatlock stitching
- 4-thread overlock
Optional accessories highlighted in this class include:
- Open Toe Foot
- Quilt Guide
- 3/4" Belt Loop Binder
- Lace Applicator Foot or Blind Hem Foot
