MSQB-4: Monthly Sampler Quilt Block Series - July
Each month practice a different technique for making and quilting a block. Each quilted block will finish 12” square. Great opportunity for both beginner and non-beginner quilters to learn different quilt piecing techniques and have some fun and camaraderie doing it. This is not a project class but bonus instructions will be provided for how to join blocks together to make larger projects. For example, a quilted block can be made into a placemat or a tote bag; or several blocks can be put together to make a table runner, or a small quilt. Blocks can be duplicated and made into a larger quilt. Lots of possibilities.
This month's block is traditional raw edge applique on the machine but with a few embellishment surprises thrown in; fringe in the flower centers; decorative stitch circles make the purple flower. Stop by the store to see the actual block.
