You will make sample tab top and rod pocket curtains and a sample roman shade. Directions for the samples and for a custom home project will be provided. You will make three pillows each with new skills and information.  Directions will be provided for each of the pillows. You will have printed instructions in a class notebook for use in class.  

The curtain and roman shade instructions include how to measure your window, determine fabric requirements, length and width, placement of curtain tabs, how to deal with print repeats and how to construct your window treatments.  

The pillow projects include a quick and easy pillow sham that fits a standard pillow (31" x 26"). It has a lapped back closure and fringe to add a customized touch. The crazy quilt pillow is decorated with the decorative stitches on your machine, has inserted cording if you wish and your choice of back closure. It fits a 14" pillow form. The bow tie pillow is a single quilt block that is fun and fast. You may choose the closure method for this pillow and either make a pillow insert or purchase one for your bow tie pillow.

This is a six week class. Class is usually one night a week for six weeks. Occasionally,
it is necessary to double up in a week to get all six classes in before a holiday or previously scheduled conflict.  The class tuition is $200.00 paid at registration.

The minimum class size is 4 and the maximum class size is 6.

There are additional expenses in this class (Ex: fabric, thread, stuffing, trims, zipper, etc.). 

A USB stick will be given to you a the first class with all the information needed for the six weeks of class.  If you desire you may print the class booklet for yourself. The information on the USB is copy right protected.  Please DO NOT share the information with others.  It is for your use as a member of the class

Dropbox links to class videos are provided as a support tool for class.  The link will be sent to your email address after class.  Previous classes really appreciate the step by step videos and have found them a very useful tool to support the skills they are learning in class.  You are probably familiar with the videos from your beginner 1 classes. There are bonus videos included in Beginner 2. They are videos on how to put your pillow together, how to make bias piping, and a special video on zipper insertions.

I will send you a project supply list and class prep instructions for the first class by email.  You will get it about 2 weeks before class starts.  Please, be sure I have your current e mail address and phone number.
