Each month a different technique.  Fun way to learn and practice different piecing and quilting techniques.  All are Quilt-As-You-Go blocks.   Each quilted block will finish 12” square.  Quilted blocks can be combined to create a quilt such as the 9-block quilt shown below, or to create table runners.  Placemats, tote bags and pillows are other ways to use the blocks.  Great opportunity to learn different piecing and quilting techniques while having some fun and camaraderie doing it. 

Aug - Crazy Quilt Block, shown above

The crazy quilt is a good way to use up scraps of beautiful fabrics, odds and ends of left over laces, buttons and other embellishments, and, if you are a machine embroiderer, to use test embroidery stitch-outs that are just laying around looking for a home!
