Monthly Sample Quilt Blocks - March

March - Raw Edge and Turned Edge Applique

Note that the Monthly Block classes for the remainder of the year have been cancelled due to instructor personal conflicts.

This block will be typical raw edge applique but we will jazz it up with some optional embellishment techniques.  The curvy 'frame' around the flower is Turned Edge applique that we can jazz up a little, too.  I don't have a sample of this one made yet, as of this posting of the class, but hope to have it done soon.

In class we will make the block.  We may or may not get it quilted in class.  That depends on how complicated it is to make the block.
